Highlands Family Photo Mini Sessions

Fri Oct 13, 2017 – Sun Oct 15, 2017

Sign up now for a Family Photo Mini Session with the talented Sarah Jane Photography. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to update your family portraits. The session fee is $50 and are 15 minutes including one complimentary digital image. Additional photos will be available to purchase online with Sarah Jane Photography. Images will be ready before the holidays, making it a great holiday card or present. Sign up early to confirm your spot as they will go fast. Your session will be confirmed once payment of your session fee has been received. Invoices will be emailed and can be paid online or in cash to Sarah Jane Photography. This is not a fundraiser but HPAC negotiated discount rate making it a tremendous value being offered to Highlands Families.

Welcome Back Pizza

Please join us for the Welcome Back Pizza on Thursday, October 5th from 5:30-7:30.  There will be a cupcake walk as well!  Please fill out order form and return to the HPAC box in the front office: PizzaOrderForm2017.docx 

We will need help with the following activities on the night of the event:

4:45 - 5:30 - Set up (includes moving tables, stocking tables with pizza/drinks/chips, hanging signage, drawing cake walks, unloading pizzas)

5:20 - 7:00(ish) - Pizza & Food hand out or cash sales (Handing out orders, managing cash sales)

5:55 - 7:30(ish) - Cupcake Walk (Helping to organize the lines, collecting loonies, giving kids directions, monitoring cupcake consumption!)

7:30 - 8:30 - Clean Up (putting tables away, garbage collection, recycling sorting, sweeping gym)

We are using an online sign up tool this year to help ensure we have enough helpers for each of the activities. Please use the following URL to indicate what activities you can help with. We will be in touch again with more details closer to the date.

Fall Planning & HPAC Event Proposals 

Your HPAC Executives will be discussing the 2017/18 budget at the October 3rd HPAC meeting. 

If you would you like to see a new event take place at Highlands Elementary that requires some financial assistance, then please complete a "Budget Request Form" and place into the HPAC box by SEPTEMBER 22nd - download form here: HPAC Event Item Proposal.pdf

Please ensure you read all of the HPAC and School District policies to ensure your event follows all required guidelines.
